A Guided Sew-Along
for those who want to construct a winter coat. Construction will begin July 2008, but be incrementally slow enough so that you can work on other projects and have a life too.
Timeline
May - Gather materials
June - muslin for fit and style, prep fabrics
July - finish fitting muslin
July - cutting/mounting/ interfacing
September - lapel shaping, pockets and buttonholes
September - finish construction of shell, sleeves
Mid to late Sept/Early October - construct lining
October - lining into coat
Goal - finish by middle of October

Looking good. Could use a bit more room in the hips.
I think it looks good, too. Those horizontal ripples at the waist area suggest that there should be more room at the hip, as Nancy K says. Try opening the back princess seams up by 1/2 each.
